UAF Wheat Campaign Report 2024: Boosting Yields with Modern Farming in Punjab

The university of agriculture UAF, in  collaborating with Punjab agriculture extension department launched a 13 days wheat campaign from 18 to 30 November 2024. Thousand of students visited farmers across Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal Gujrat and Gujranwala to promote timely sowing, certified seeds, balanced fertilizer use and modern farming practices. The initiative also introduced new wheat verities in partnership with Washington state university, aiming to boost yields and support farmers training.
